).
This supervision includes, and is not limited to, ensuring each program setting provides a secure, organized, and responsive environment to the individuals served.
This position requires a person-centered philosophy, positive role modeling, and building positive relationships and support for each Manager.
The RD is responsible for providing training to Managers to promote consistent program operations and as identified needed to ensure responsibilities are met in a timely manner.
The RD reports all concerns regarding program operation, individuals supported, and personnel to the Director of DDM in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities & Work Schedule This position may be remote or based within a HopeTree office setting.
This role requires travel up to 3 hours from a HopeTree main office.
The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:
30a - 5:
00p and includes 24-hour on-call responsibilities.
There will be occasions in which the RD is required to work during evening, overnight, or weekend hours.
Flexibility is granted to the regular schedule when communicated in advance with the Director of DDM that adjustment is needed based on such situations.
Duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:
1.
RDs will be physically present in assigned program locations at least 50% of their work week.
Attendance at each program location will be consistent and balanced with other locations.
2.
Provides consistent support and supervision to Managers through coaching, teaching, and mentoring according to HopeTree's training and expectations.
Support should be in person, in the program locations, and through virtual platforms such as Teams, phone calls, text messages, and emails.
3.
Coaching, teaching, and mentoring Managers is carried out with high support and high challenge, providing hands-on assistance with responsibilities when needed.
The RD ensures that all talent development is provided consistently and in partnership with DDM leadership and Human Resources according to HopeTree policies and expectations.

Regularly monitor staffing levels and plans with Managers, ensuring the staff provide person-centered approaches to individuals supported.
Each location should be observed to operate in a professional manner.
5.
Model and teach DDM philosophies including accountability, person-centered thinking, and solution-focused problem-solving skills by attending monthly team meetings at each program location as often as possible and no less than nine (9) per year.
6.
Ensure programs are being operated and led according to HopeTree expectations, policies, and regulations by conducting regular audits, no less than once per month at each location, including, and not limited to, Manager responsibilities, emergency and disaster preparedness, maintenance of locations and vehicles, overtime, training, medication documentation and storage, credit cards and individual funds, program budget and expenses, daily and routine documentation (progress notes, quarterly reviews, etc.
), and timely completion of requirements in online learning platform, HRIS, and EHR.
7.
Promote a philosophy of community integration and development of natural supports by monitoring, coaching, and mentoring Managers to discover new opportunities for individuals supported.
8.
Complete all administrative work in a consistent and timely manner, including and not limited to, audits, checklists, uploads, credit card coding, submission of any documentation or processing of information to HR, Business Office or other departments as needed, and regular attendance at all required meetings.
9.
Review, respond to, and provide follow-up on all serious incident reports in the region.
10.
Be an active participant of the DDM leadership team and foster communication with Managers and direct care team members.
Support other departments within DDM and HopeTree to ensure admissions, training, billing, and all processes and procedures are implemented in an effective and timely manner.
11.
Build and maintain, in partnership with DDM leadership, a working knowledge of all related regulatory requirements, including 12VAC35-105; 12VAC35-115; and 12VAC30-122.
This includes promoting human rights, reporting and responding to reported serious incidents, and general compliance with all regulations, DDM Policies & Procedures, and HTFS Employee Handbook.
12.
Provide training to new DDM team members on DDM Orientation Day and monitoring all new hire training checklist completion.
Support Managers to ensure that training is provided consistently according to the new hire schedule requirements.
13.

Job Requirements Bachelor's Degree required (Human Services or related degree is preferred) At least one year of supervisory experience (Human Services related is preferred) At least one year experience working with individuals with an intellectual disability (IDD) Knowledge, understanding, and application of the above-listed Core Competencies Ability to provide timely response to on-call responsibilities Willingness to travel to program locations, including some overnight travel Acceptable driving record and valid driver's license Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to represent the agency in the community in a positive manner Job Type:
