ADR Urgent Veterinary Care is a brand-new urgent care practice in Salem, VA! We are a customer-centric, and supportive urgent vet practice providing excellent, efficient, compassionate urgent veterinary care with friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service.
We have a brand-new state-of-the-art facility to provide emergency and urgent care between the hours of 11 am-11 pm Mon-Saturday.
That's right, NO OVERNIGHT shifts! So, if you are customer service rep seeking a job bridging the gap between general practice and 24-hr emergency facilities, this job may be for you! This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on both the pets and owners in our area as we continue to build this practice! We have a full in-house lab, radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and 2 OR's.
We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who take their job seriously but don't take themselves too seriously! We would love to have individuals with experience but are also willing to train those motivated individuals who want to learn! Skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and the ability to recognize and solve problems.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box.
Flexibility to work hours that are dictated by the needs of the practice.
Detail-oriented self-starter Have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments Check in patients Assist in intake of patients Collect medical records and client data Process deposits and payment Perform general housekeeping duties such as picking up trash, sweeping floors, etc.
as required by practice management systems.
Maintain accurate patient records in a timely manner according to state regulations and federal guidelines.
Transfer medical records to referring DVMs in a timely manner Calling clients to follow up on patient Job Type:
