4K a year POSITION OVERVIEW The primary function of the Operations Analyst is to apply a combination of analytical, technical, and soft skills to help the business improve its operating model.
This will be done through identifying, understanding, and addressing operational risks, while partnering with business team members to enhance system, functions and processes directly benefiting the business, and help ensure strategic goals are achieved.
The Operations Analyst will drive creation and execution of facility continuous improvement initiatives, delivering short and long-term improvement results for all business objectives, including safety, quality, and productivity.
Also, this position will create, track, and analyze the business operation scorecard against the company's targets in Manufacturing and Distribution KPI's.
This position will also be required to prepare reports and outline all aspects of the performance in each facility within the organization.
The Analyst will work closely with plant leadership to accomplish high synergies, efficiencies, and low cost of direct labor activities while increasing over all Equipment efficiencies.
The Operations Analyst will be responsible to plan and schedule the hourly activity of 200
associates on 20 production lines in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely delivery to customers while maximize plant productivity.
They will determine the minimum number of associates that will be needed in the different departments to deliver the Assembly, Customization, and Distribution requirements within the approved standard costs.
In addition, this position is responsible for the execution and coordination of all promotional programs that are being assembled as one stop shop at the TPL (Third Party Logistics) sites along with ensuring a flawless execution of all sales orders to deliver in full and on time.
Must be familiar and understand the TPL capabilities and processes, all Customer requirements and expectations, Transportation -In bound, out bound, and all required systems.
The duties with the TPL include reporting production in the various systems, updating promo master DATA, Inventory reconciliation, scheduling and coordination of transportation, Order management, On time and in full deliveries and the execution of drop-in programs.
MAJOR DUTIES Develop and implement technical solutions to accomplish business strategy/processes.
Serve as a key project team member and support business process improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation by working closely with the project staff and business stakeholders/leaders.
Develop and maintain reporting functionality and other analytical tools to ensure accuracy and identify trends, issues, and opportunities.
Make recommendations to improve business processes Perform ad hoc data extraction, analyses and segmentation as required, for the purposes of analyzing the business operation monthly results and scorecard creation.
Support global initiatives serving as a resource to measure, monitor, and improve performance related to cost reduction, material savings, and inventory optimization.
Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively scheduling production to meet on-time delivery and adapting schedules to meet challenges.
Partner with plant management to provide solutions that drive customer satisfaction and reduce cost.
Collaborates with engineering, quality, and plant leadership to determine optimal production run sizes and change-over sequences and adheres to defined lead times for products supplies from responsible locations.
Plan and assist in the execution of various Lean transformation events and projects targeted towards improving the facility's performance on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
This includes facilitating, leading, and mentoring Lean initiatives and 5S events.
Act as a key driver of change supporting management/cross functional decisions by communicating the facility changes to employees and helping them to learn, understand, adjust, and grow with the business's Lean transformation.
Ensure all projects align with business objectives, and KPI's.
Participates in a weekly review of the Master Production Schedule, analyzing released batch order, planned orders, and capacity loading to ensure schedules support production execution and data flows.
Perform other ad hoc requests as needed.
EXPERIENCE 2-5 years in analytical, financial, or operational position Manufacturing/Distribution:

2 years (Preferred) Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferred) 5S KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Essential Strong computer skills required:

SAP, JDE, Flex Metrics, I Warehouse A self-starting, self-motivated, leader with highly developed interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills are/is vital to the position Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with knowledge of statistical analysis Must possess the ability to work and collaborate well with all levels of the organization and can influence and persuade key stakeholders, while constructively dealing with conflicts Excellent mathematical skills Organizational skills and ability to work independently Practice and adhere to established safety rules and policies Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed EDUCATION Bachelor's degree (Preferred):
Business, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or related.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
