INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER Yokohama Tire Manufacturing Virginia, L.L.C., a leading manufacturer of passenger and light truck radial tires located in Southwest, Virginia, is currently seeking a qualified Industrial Engineer. Candidate will be responsible for improvement initiatives and production support in many areas of plant operations. Experience with TPM programs, 5S, Process Flow, Kanban systems, and other Lean Manufacturing principles are a plus. Duties also include manpower/equipment determinations, productivity and capacity analysis, work station layouts, transportation/storage improvements, and formal work procedures. Preferred candidates will have a BSIE/ISE degree with 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with solid presentation, word processing, data summary, and AutoCAD skills. This position offers an excellent benefit package and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
