Data Entry Specialist

The Data Entry Specialist must be a high school graduate and have training/ experience with electronic record keeping. He/she must be analytical, organized, able to maintain confidentiality and have or acquire a thorough knowledge of Blackbaud to appropriately utilize the system and software.
The Data Entry Specialist serves on a part-time basis. He/she is responsible for handling the department's computerized processing for gifts which includes properly crediting donor records, preparing reports of daily gifts and preparing donor receipts/acknowledgements, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date computer files. In addition, he/she is responsible for the overall department and management of the computer system, assisting with donor research, and other duties as requested.
Hours will be Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Rate of pay is $10.26 - $14.10 dependent upon education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
