The RN functions as a team player in a fast paced Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
The RN is directly responsible to the Nurse Manager.
This position is for a RN on fast paced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) who is able to function as a team player.
The RN is accountable for the provision of direct patient care and for the delivery of quality nursing care to a culturally diverse veteran population with complex needs.
The RN must possess the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice settingoThe applicant must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate careoApplicant must be able to manage a computerized documentation system and a computerized medication administration systemoApplicant must possess independent critical thinking skills and the ability to function as a team leader oDemonstrated and well developed written and verbal communication skillsoDemonstrated commitment to professional developmentoDemonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
