Physician (Pain Management)

TOUR OF DUTY:
Day Tour, 7:
00am - 3:
30pm, with call rotation, as necessary.
The selected candidate will be responsible for performing duties to include, but not limited to the following:
o Provides patient care in the areas of Internal Medicine and Pain Management in the form of primary and/or consultative care;o Participates in inpatient Pain Management consult service as needed;o Provides emergency consultative services and call coverage on a rotating schedule;o Provides evaluation and medical management of chronic pain conditions on an outpatient basis;o Develops and implements treatment plans to include:
narcotic and non-narcotic pain management, appropriate testing, and non-invasive pain modalities;o Provides interventional pain management procedures on both inpatient and outpatient basis including:
cervical, thoracic or lumbar epidural steroid injections; cervical or lumbar facet/nerve block/median branch blocks; sacroiliac joint injections; pulsed radiofrequency; lumbar or thoracic para-vertebral sympathetic blocks; trigger point injections and piriformis injections; stellate ganglion blocks; percutaneous lysis or adhesions; occipital nerve blocks; botox injections; trigeminal nerve blocks; illioinguinal or genitofemoral nerve blocks; and spinal cord stimulator implantation, followup and maintenance.
o Participates in the development and support of the medical center's academic mission through supervision, training, and mentoring of medical students, residents and fellows.
o Performs administrative duties involved in the proper functioning of the Pain Management Section; ando Performs other related duties, as required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
