Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse - Primary Care)Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday (8-9 Hour shifts with miscellaneous tours)Functional Statement Title/#:
Nurse ManagerThe Nurse Manager is accountable to the Chief Nurse of their Services, and ultimately to the Associate Director of Patient Care/Nursing Service.
Appropriately guides and counsels staff with supervisory consultation.
Ability to address performance issuesAssists staff in adapting to organizational changeMentors staff in development of special projects, presentations and publicationsCollaborate with other managers/administrators to initiate improvement in care and delivery, identify, and resolve problems affecting client care and unit operationsEmpower staff to recognize their role in the systemCoordinate the provision of quality of care and assisting staff to fulfill performance expectationsCollaborate with appropriate manager/administrators to develop, implement, and evaluate goals and objectives for the areasAssure optimal orientation and clinical competence of nursing staffCommunicate effectively within an interdisciplinary environment and accomplish administrative tasks.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
