Registered NurseThe Registered Nurse serves on the Progressive Care Unit with direct supervision line authority to the unit Nurse Manager.
RN on a fast paced Progressive Care Unit Functions as a team playerAbility to provide excellent verbal and written communication skillsAccountable for the provision of direct patient care and for the delivery of quality nursing care to a culturally diverse Veteran population with complex needsEffectively applies all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice settingDemonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age related needs of patientsManages computerized documentation, medication administration and team leadership responsibilitiesOther duties include patient and family education, interdisciplinary participation with discharge planning.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
